Safety Concerns and Bully Report

School safety is a shared responsibility, and it’s extremely important that you report all safety concerns, either through this system, or by telling a trusted adult, or a school administrator. Research shows that those who wish to do harm to others often tell someone about their plans.

It is often assumed that “someone else” has reported a concern, or it is believed to be something minor and that it is probably nothing to be concerned about. Please report it anyway, and never assume that someone else has done so. Telling someone saves lives.

Bullying is when someone “repeatedly, or on purpose, says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending himself or herself.” According to “David’s Law,” protected under the Texas Bullying Law, a single act of bullying with no repeated pattern may count as an act of bullying.
