·       Monday, Sept. 20—SchoolHoliday…confidence in yourself starts at home! Practice smiling in the mirror so that tomorrow you can put your bestsmiling eyes forward!

·       Tuesday, Sept. 21—Decoratename tags so that we all can make new friends! Morning announcements will remind students how special they are to usand our school while encouraging everyone to call their friends by name!Calling someone by name communicates respect and a sense of belonging.

·       Wednesday, Sept. 22—Wewill practice saying hello to every person on the Playground atRecess! Morning announcements will discuss how to say hello in other ways aswell, like a silent wave in the hallway. Everyone wants to be noticed for who they are.  We encourage student to notice how theirclassmates are feeling and encourage them to have a great day by saying hello!

·       Thursday, Sept. 23—Studentsmay wear anything and everything Green (within dress code-no green hairplease).  Green universally signals ”Go”so this day our green reminds us to go out and make our community of learnersfeel important by acknowledging each other by calling them by name, a wave, ora smile!

·       Friday, Sept. 24—It’sso simple to smile to say Hello! Each student will get a smiley sticker &practice smiling (and smiling eyes) everywhere we go—because even though wecan’t always speak and say hello…we CAN ALWAYS Smile!

It’s as Easy as 1, 2, 3!
